The latest news from the May 2nd committee meeting.
There appears to be no high school football game on Friday night so we won't be attending that. There is the Fall Festival on the Square however and it has been suggested that we meet there around 630 p.m. at the north side of the old courthouse. That will be finalized next meeting.
Saturday we will be meeting at Jim Pence's at 6 p.m. for socializing and then dinner by the Smokehouse at 7 p.m. At 8 p.m. will be photographs taken by Peggy Huber Lawrey ('60), at KC Star photographer, of each class and then the group as a whole. During the day the Fall Festival continues on the Square.
Sunday we will picnic at Stocksdale Park beginning around noon. Games, talking and more eating.
The cost for the weekend is currently estimated at $30.00, firm cost later.

The shelter at Stocksdale Park which is south of Richfield Rd on LaFranz Rd. about 2 or 3 miles. The shelter is on the north side, has BBQ pits plus the bathrooms. There is also a walking trail and a view. We can also rent valley ball net and equipment. Across the parking lot to the south is the horseshoe pits. On the west side of the shelter is the baseball diamond, again we can rent bases if anyone has the desire to play a game or 2. We need to know in advance about renting equipment.
There is also water available by the shelter and electric.
As more information becomes available it will be posted here.
