Hovering as hummingbirds over
The nectar we have chosen as life's way.
Upstairs that take us awy from
Earth and higher in our minds with
Greater expected returns on our only
Initial investment - The Will, Too.
Joined in the frantic flight with ally
The quest has the truest conviction
Where reality is placed without
Reproach for explanation, Nor Answer
Chording life the strung instrument
Where fancy bequeaths noble fashion
To be lived with charge of Zeal
Abound beyond spheres
Lest desire heeds to beckon of heart
And no labor goes unwarranted
As we live our souls' Greatest Esteem.

Sun Bathing
I was a sun lover
Long before it was
Fashionable for us
But, the sun was always
Fashionable
Because working in it
Made it so
We sought the shade
And knew after the break
Where we were destined
To be again.
To those who had
The luxury of the big house
And the wrath of us
To go along with it.
Now, all seek
The sun
Though it's lovely
To be bronzed
It is even more lovely
To be blacker in
Sun Bathing.

Autumn's song is sung
As falling leaves
Kiss the ground
In tones
Unable to be produced
By modern day instruments
And, each leaf
Sings its own song
Never to be sung
By it again.

Though I know my size Darkness
